2023 Preservation Awards of Excellence

Nominations are closed.

Join us on Wednesday, May 24 to celebrate the Fourth Annual Preservation Awards of Excellence. The Awards program aims to identify and publicly recognize those properties that have successfully demonstrated preservation of Norfolk’s historic resources. The program also educates the public using positive examples of preservation, advocates for the use of preservation best practices and celebrates the hard work and dedication of the people who make preservation possible in our community.

As in previous years, awards will be given in categories including single-family and multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use, and compatible new construction. Back by popular demand, the People’s Choice Award will go to the community’s favorite preservation project.
