Our Mission

To educate, advocate and celebrate historic preservation in the City of Norfolk, Virginia and to cooperate with other organizations in furtherance of these goals.

Norfolk Preservation Collective was founded in 2019. We are a volunteer-led organization with a vision to promote the positive impacts of historic preservation in our city, and to bring together a diverse and inclusive network of residents, professionals, and businesses interested in history, architecture, place, and community.

Our Board

Norfolk Preservation Collective’s nine-member Board of Directors is passionate about the organization’s mission. We are dedicated citizens, community leaders, and neighborhood advocates rallying behind our city’s built environment and cultural heritage.
